Arca Continental Boosts Ecuador Production

Mexican soft-drink bottler Arca Continental SAB said Wednesday it has rolled out a new production line at its Guayaquil, Ecuador plant that should contribute to a 35 percent increase in production capacity in that country. The new line set the company back $20 million, part of a two-year, $70 million investment plan for its Ecuador operations that will increase annual capacity there by more than 40 million unit cases.
