One Direction, Drew Brees Join Pepsi for Ad

One Direction is Pepsi's newest pop star. The soda company is partnering with the boy band and NFL star Drew Brees for an ad that will debut this week. The clip shows One Direction and Brees in a head-to-head competition for a can of Pepsi. Brees also performs with the group. It's part of Pepsi's "Live for Now" campaign, which has also featured Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry. (USA Today)


Coke's Newest Vending Machine Has Them Dancing

In a marketing move that is decidedly Pavlovian in scope, Coca Cola has recently installed a new - and remarkably large - model of vending machine in a South Korean shopping mall. The machine's gimmick combines a Microsoft Kinect motion controller, and a simple dancing game, driven by a large screen depicting a popular K-pop boy band. (PC Authority)


Civil War Beer Returns to Market
