Sparse Florida Harvest Sends OJ Futures Higher

Florida's orange crop is looking less juicy than last year, and that is boosting orange-juice futures prices. A U.S. Department of Agriculture survey of groves across Florida's citrus belt earlier this month found that oranges were yielding the lowest amount of juice in three years. More than 90% of U.S. orange juice is made from Florida-grown oranges, according to the Florida Department of Citrus. (WSJ)
