More Double-Digit Growth for Craft at Mid-Year
t's looking quite likely that craft brewers will be headed to another full year of double-digit volume and revenue growth, if the Brewers Association's (BA) mid-year numbers are any indication. BA announced that during the first six months of 2013, American craft beer dollar sales and volume were up 15 percent and 13 percent, respectively. Over the same period last year, dollar sales jumped 14 percent and volume increased 12 percent. The association reported earlier this year that for full year 2012, dollar sales were up 17 percent and volume was up 15 percent.
