Craft Beer at Farmers Markets Bill Passes Pa. House

A bill allowing craft breweries to get permits to sell their products at farmers' markets and at craft beer and food expositions has passed in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. The bill would allow small-business owners like brewers "to participate more fully in the niche markets that exist for their products," he said. Santoni, the Democratic chairman of the House Liquor Control Committee, said in a release that the craft brewers' share of the market has grown from 3.8 percent in 2007 to 5.68 in 2011.
