Named for the hero of Irish history, Michael Collins Irish Whiskey is being billed as the first ultra-premium Irish whiskey. That's no surprise coming from the company that spearheaded the ultra-premium vodka category with Grey Goose. The whiskey combines with the pure water from the Cooley Mountains of County Louth, Ireland with select grains and malted barley dried over peat fires. The process is among the oldest traditions of Irish distilling, dating back to 1762.
