 Dispelling the belief that premium vodkas must come from Russia, Parched Group, LLC launched Cirrus Vodka, a triple distilled spirit made from Virginia grown potatoes and select russet potatoes. Produced in small batches in a Richmond, Va.-based distillery, Cirrus Vodka is described as an ultra-smooth vodka with a full bodied taste that's slightly sweet and has a creamy vodka flavor. Since its launch, Cirrus earned a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and a silver medal at the Beverage Testing Institute's (BTI) tasting competition. The packaging design also won a bronze medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition for its unique and tastefully designed bottle. The spirit is currently available in Virginia as well as the Washington, D.C. and Tennessee markets.
