Kenwood 2006 Reserve Pinot Noir |
|
Monday, 24 March 2008 |
Kenwood Vineyards believes "Reserve" on the label should signify a special, limited-production wine. Its 2006 Reserve Pinot Noir is an expression of that Reserve philosophy. Kenwood Vineyards Reserve Pinot Noir begins in the vineyard, specifically a few select Russian River Valley vineyards. The Pinot Noir's aromas of raspberry and cherry are accented by subtle nutmeg, cinnamon and soy nuances, describes the company. Senior Winemaker Pat Henderson samples every barrel and selects only the best ones for Kenwood Vineyards Reserve Pinot Noir. In 2006, less than 2 percent of Kenwood's Pinot Noir production was bottled as Reserve amounting to the production of 1,200 cases.
