Tuesday, 18 March 2008
Brian Rogers Crown Holdings, Inc., a leading supplier of packaging products to consumer marketing companies around the world, has recently named Brian Rogers, 48, operations vice president of its Crown Bevcan Europe and Middle East business unit.

Rogers will be based in Paris and will oversee manufacturing operations for the company's 13 beverage can plants located across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Since joining Crown in 1990, Rogers has worked as project manager and production engineer, as well as plant and area manufacturing manager. Prior to taking his current position, he served as area manufacturing manager for Crown's beverage can operations in North America. He was also part of an internal Crown team responsible for building and opening manufacturing facilities in eight different countries.

"Brian has tremendous knowledge of the can making industry and is an expert in the manufacturing operations sector," says Terry Cartwright, senior vice president of Crown Bevcan Europe and Middle East. "He has been with Crown for the past 17 years and his background and experience will be of great value to us and our customers."

Rogers says he welcomes the new responsibility, as well as the opportunity to contribute to Crown's global clients.

"I am excited about this new role, and look forward to putting my experience and knowledge to work for Crown's customers in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa," says Rogers.

Rogers is replacing Dave Francis, who recently retired after 44 years with Crown.
