Cott Corp. to Produce, Distribute Xingtea

XingteaCott Corporation (Tampa, Fla.) announced that it has partnered with New Age Beverage to produce and distribute Xingtea as part of its expanding portfolio of branded products.

Xingtea is an all natural, preservative-free green tea sweetened with either pure cane sugar or honey. This green tea comes in 13 varieties ranging from "Just Plain Tea," which contains no sweeteners or flavors, to more exotic offerings such as Pomegranate & Honey and Mango & Honey.

Additionally, Xingtea offers three of its most popular flavors—Ginseng, Pomegranate and Mango—in sugar-free, all natural varieties.

"Xingtea is superior in taste and efficacy versus other national brand competitors. Natural teas, energy drinks and vitamin-enriched waters are some of the fastest growing and highest profit segments in beverages, and Cott now has some of the best new products and brands in each of these segments."

Prior to the partnership, Xingtea skyrocketed to the No. 6 position in retail distributed tea in the Colorado market in just under one year, according to the company. Cott plans to take Xingtea national as part of its new age portfolio via a new hybrid direct store delivery (DSD) system serving both up- and down-the-street and national chains.

New Age distributors and Cott's own DSD network also will be distributing ThrowDown energy drink and Emerge nutrient-infused water as part of a broader New Age beverage portfolio offering. Xingtea is available in all major retail outlets.
