Heineken Plans Joint Venture |

Heineken said it had set up a joint venture with Efes Breweries International to invest in the rapidly growing beer market in Uzbekistan.
Heineken said it would hold 40 percent and EBI 60 percent of the shares in the joint venture, with EBI responsible for operational management.
Heineken and Efes added they would also combine their operations in the Kazakh and Serbian beer markets.
