Goji Berry, GojiLania, BrandStorm, Inc.If the Goji berry is an unfamiliar fruit, chances are that it won’t be for long. The berry that has been used in Chinese and Tibetan medicine for centuries is revered for its properties believed to be associated with vitality and longevity. While this sacred berry is legendary in ancient cultures and is considered one of the most nutritious fruits on the plant, Goji berries are becoming more widely recognized in the West as nutrition-dense superfoods.

With that, the beverage world also is tapping into the rediscovered berry. One product, GojiLania, a fresh-pressed Goji juice made from all natural Goji berries has expended its distribution in the United States and is now available throughout North America. Loaded with nutrients, GojiLania, which is certified organic by the USDA, contains no added sweeteners, no other juices, no artificial ingredients and is rich in high-potency antioxidant vitamin C, beta carotene, B vitamins, amino acids, potassium, protein and polysaccharides.

"GojiLania has been one of the most anticipated new products in the BrandStorm portfolio," says Thierry Ollivier, CEO of BrandStorm, Inc., which imports natural, organic and fancy foods from Europe and Asia, including Himalania Goji berries, Himalania Goji berry trail mixes, Gojilania Goji juice and Himalania Pink Salt.

"We've worked for some time to develop a Goji juice that meets the strictest standards in taste, purity and quality, but also satisfies our company's will to use the most sustainable, responsible growing methods on the planet, let alone the pristine mountains of Western China," notes Ollivier.

The full line of GojiLania is available at select Whole Foods and other natural and organic foods markets throughout North America.

"We've been eager to make Gojilania available in our store because we've found that it's extremely rare to find Goji berry products that are 100 percent organic," says Juan Hernandez, store manager of Erewhon Natural Foods, a Los Angeles, Calif., natural foods store.
