 Odwalla, one of the nation's leading health beverage brands, is adding a new energy beverage to its juice lineup—Odwalla Serious Energy. Serious Energy is packed with natural energy sources and provides consumers with nutrition and taste, says the company.
Odwalla Serious Energy debuted with a Tropical Fruit Juice Blend flavor that combines pineapple, mango, guava and passion fruit juices. On the vitamin front, the energy drink contains vitamins B1 and B2, which can play a role in energy metabolism; vitamin C, with 100 percent of the suggested Reference Daily Intake (RDI) to boost the immune system and extracts of yerba mate (200 mg), green tea (100 mg) and guarana seed (10 mg), which is believed to increase alertness and elevate vitality. The beverage also contains 1 mg of ginseng.
