The San Antonio, TX, USA-based beverage company, Sweet Success Enterprises, Inc., maker of better-for-you beverages like Chocolate Immunity Infusion, PowerBlend and Ultra Greens, recently met with Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) officials for preliminary talks on developing a strategy for a co-branding effort to assist JDRF in its fund-raising campaigns.
"Our focus is to establish a co-branding effort with JDRF to educate and provide this healthy beverage to school systems throughout the US," says William Gallagher, Sweet Success CEO. "We are now talking to a major distributor on the East Coast who could possibly provide delivery to most of the school systems in their 11-state area."
The co-branding is focused on Sweet Success’ GlucaSafe, a Fuel for Health green and white tea/pomegranate based beverage that contains only 2 grams of sugar and 15 calories per serving developed to maintain healthy glucose levels. In May 2007 Sweet Success again teamed up with JDRF as a sponsor for its "Sugar Show 2007" event at Six Flags Over Georgia.
Founded in 1993, Sweet Success Enterprises, Inc. has continued to make functional beverages. Among the natural ingredients the company uses is guarana, a potent rainforest herb with fiber-bound caffeine that provides a gentle energy boost; ground flax, a good source of soluble fiber and Omega-3 fatty acid, known to improve heart health, lower cholesterol and help prevent arthritis and Aktivated Barley, a pre-sprouted grain that is digested slowly for lasting endurance and lowered blood sugar levels. |
