'Relaxation' Drink Launched in L.A. |

 Blue Cow Relaxation Drink, an anti-stress beverage, recently gained an exclusive distribution deal with Haralambos Beverages, a beverage distributor in Southern California.
The relaxation beverage that was launched in late 2005 will join the Haralambos distribution family, which includes, vitaminwater, Snapple, Gatorade, Arizona beverages and Nestlé Waters and Campbell's beverages as a result of the deal.
Anthony Haralambos, president of Haralambos Beverages, and George Smart, chairman/founder of Blue Cow jointly made the announcement Aug. 21. Blue Cow is beginning to launch its products starting in Southern California where it is currently in select Ralphs, Albertsons, 7-Elevens, AM/PM's and other stores, according to the company.
"The deal with Haralambos represents the opportunity for our company to enter 16,000 markets, stores, in Southern California. These stores represent most of the Southern California distribution channel," says Smart. "If we can continue to take market share, in this prime marketplace, we should be able to bring the resources to expand nationally in a very short time frame."
Blue Cow Relaxation Drink, a product of RelaxCo (San Pedro, Calif., USA), contains Suntheanine, Taiyo International's patented brand of pure L-Theanine, the primary amino acid found in green tea. According to the company, which has a sister company, SleepCo, maker of sleep aid products Sleep Water, Sleep Bars, Sleep Lozengers, Sleep Cookies and Sleep Scents, Blue Cow Relaxation Drink provides relaxation without drowsiness. Other ingredients used in the drink that enhance its relaxing affect include Chamomile, Hops, Passion Flower, Hawthrone Berry and Lemon Balm.
Available in 10-ounce bottles, Blue Cow Relation Drink is appropriate for children and adults, says the company, and though the drink is lemon flavored, a Vanilla flavor is available online at www.bluecowdrink.com.
