Thiele Technologies, Inc. (Minneapolis, MN) developed the 8255 ServoPro low-profile casepacker with servo-drive technology to eliminate all drive chains and belts. The reduction of the number of moving parts cuts associated machine maintenance and downtime, the company says. The servo-drive technology also makes it possible to lower the operator working height and provides a lower case magazine loading point for improved machine ergonomics. Combined with Thiele’s quick changeover technology, this results in changeover times of 15 minutes or less, according to the company. Operating at 30 cases per minute, the 8255 is available with stainless steel frames and wash-down construction. Electrical packages include Nema 4, Nema 4X and Nema 12.
