Innocoll HMP

ImageKHS now offers a glue precisely corresponding to tray and wrap-around packing machines called Innocoll HMP, which builds off the company’s years of experience with its Innocoll range of adhesives in the field of labeling technology. As in labeling, the same applies to the field of packaging, as the machine, the glue and the materials must harmonize perfectly, the company says. For wrap-around and tray packaging, there are only two hotmelt variants required: Innocoll HMP 2112 for gluing of tray packaging and Innocoll HMP 2113 for gluing wrap-around packaging. KHS provides exact parameters for each application case, such as the temperature of the glue and the pressure with which the glue must be applied to the cardboard materials being processed. KHS also uses a newly developed nozzle head, which operates similarly to the same principle as a combustion engine. A pneumatically controlled valve located in the nozzle ensures the application of the specified quantity of glue and also includes a self-cleaning function. The new KHS nozzle prevents uncontrolled injection of hot glue, therefore, eliminating the risk of fouling machine components or product being processed by glue sprays.
