The number of health conscious consumers is growing--that's no secret. And so is the popularity of the functional beverage category, providing proof that consumers are looking for more umph out of their beverage.
So, Phoenix Beverage Co., creators of Aloe Splash, the flavored water with organic Aloe Vera juice, has stepped it up a notch and introduced Aloe Breeze earlier this year.

"With the introduction of Aloe Breeze, now you can drink with a purpose," says Brad Holmes, president/CEO of Phoenix Beverage Co.

This line of certified organic drinks harnesses the power of Aloe Vera juice infused with naturally flavored water. Aloe Vera, known as the "miracle plant," is rumored to have had such fans as Cleopatra, Christopher Columbus and Mahatma Gandhi. Aloe is believed to boost immune response, increase bioavailability of antioxidants, aid digestion, reduce muscle and joint inflammation, repair age-related skin damage and increase energy levels.

"Offering the best of all worlds, consumers can now have an invigorating tropical thirst quencher that is also functional, nutritional and contains the power of aloe and the benefits of organics," continues Holmes.
In addition to having the umph of Aloe Vera, Aloe Breeze, crafted in Arizona, contains no calories, carbs, additives, preservatives, caffeine or sugar and a zero glycemic index. Ingredients include purified water, the botanical Stevia Leaf and organic Aloe Vera juice.

The Aloe Vera in Aloe Breeze is grown on a 7,000-acre plantation in the freeze-free Dominican Republic. The leaves are harvested by hand to ensure premium selection and then pasteurized on site within a critical two-hour window to maintain peak biological activity.

Available across the country in single-serve, 16.9-ounce wide-mouth bottle, Aloe Breeze comes in four flavors: Orange Mango, Mountain Berry, Cranberry Raspberry and Kiwi Lemon Lime.

"Aloe Breeze is the perfect addition to any diet," says Holmes, "and a tasty way to stay hydrated while contributing to overall well being."
