 Salient (Horseheads, NY) has introduced a new plug-in to enhance the operation of its Margin Minder sales management software system. Roundtrip enables the user to bring Margin Minder data directly into an Excel spreadsheet for forecasting and budgeting and then post it back to Margin Minder for continuous tracking and forecast accuracy. “We’ve had clients who’ve requested for years to get the ability to get to the server and pull the information down in that fashion that they wanted to have it and do whatever they wanted to do with it,” explains Mark Guidry, Salient’s manager of business analysis services. “More often than not they want to build budgets, plans or forecasts and push the data back in our server.” www.salient.com |
