 Orlando, FL-based CHEP has made a number of improvements to its familiar wood block pallet design. Chief among them is a heavier lead board and improved construction, which combine to absorb impacts and deflect damage from forklifts. The company also has introduced the Blue Guardian (pictured left). This pallet bumper forklift attachment is compatible with any Class II forklift carriage and helps to reduce breakage and damage to primary and secondary packaging. Features of the Blue Guardian include 1) a rubber bumper that redirects impact from product to the pallet block; 2) an I-beam shape that maintains good visibility and protection for the forklift mast; 3) a structural ribbed design for superior impact and bending strength. www.chep.com |
