 Sipa (Vittorio Veneto, Italy) has developed a range of rotary blowmolders for high output applications. The seven models in the range offer outputs from 12,000 bph to 48,000 bph. Sipa’s unique “crocodile” molds open and close vertically, allowing for a considerably smaller blow wheel diameter compared to traditional systems. The result is a compact machine that can create PET and OPP containers from lightweight, hot fill, ultraclean or mutilayer preforms. A special oven architecture, meanwhile, allows for lower temperatures because the heat comes from the irradiation of the lamps with minimal contribution from the air in the oven. The process means that heating is not impacted by the ambient air temperature and allows for faster restarts. sipa.it |
