Named after the 95-foot Wailua Falls on Maui, Hawaii, Kona Brewing Co.'s Wailua Wheat, has much to live up to. The wheat ale is slightly tart with a citrus aroma and flavor of passion fruit (added late in the brewing process)--to folks on the mainland, a "taste of paradise," says Mattson Davis, president and CEO. April through September Wailua Wheat is available on draft and in bottles in Hawaii, of course, and in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington.
