Kancor America, a division of Kancor Ingredients Limited, Cochin, India, recently hired Melanie Williams and Jeff Rotondi to lead the technical efforts for the company.
Williams, a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s College with a degree in chemistry will manage all key lab activities at Rutger’s Food Innovation center in Piscataway, NJ, where Kancor operates. Williams, who is the Technical Service Manager, will also be responsible for regulatory documentation and process improvement initiatives. Williams was most recently at American Instants Inc.
Rotondi, will lead all application and proactive concept development initiatives and will also be based in Piscataway, NJ, as Kancor’s Application Manager. Rotondi is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and holds an M.S. in Foodscience from Kansas State. His most recent assignment was with Takasago Flavors.

Kancor Ingredients Limited was established in 1911. The firm has been conducting business in North America since 1969 and offers such ingredients as spice oleoresins, natural food colors, essential oils and specialty flavors.
