MoBev Revamps Leadership Team

Missouri Beverage (MoBev) has announced a revamped leadership team, continuing a series of investments to bolster its efforts in the market. The announcement is part of the company’s plans to capitalize on growth potential following its recent partnership with Wirtz Beverage and McLane.

“Along with our new partners, we are setting aggressive goals for the future,” says Bill Reichhardt, president of Missouri Beverage. “We have big plans for building long-term growth and we know that it begins with having a strong leadership team in place. This new team includes some of the best in the industry and they will be integral to MoBev’s progressive business approach.”

The new MoBev leadership team follows the appointment of Derek Holmes as VP of Sales and John Cissell, Director of Integration and includes:

Pamela Shramek, Trade Development Market Manager: Pamela Shramek joins MoBev with nine years of experience working as a sales rep, sales analyst and pricing manager. Most recently she served as a manager of supplier strategy in the Missouri market. As trade development market manager, Shramek will work closely with MoBev supplier partners overseeing plans, goals, sales strategy and pricing. 

Fred Nachbar, Kansas City Sales Director: In a promotion, Fred Nachbar steps into the Kansas City sales director role from his previous position as MoBev Kansas City sales manager. As sales director, Nachbar will have increased responsibility overseeing a large sales team and working closely with leadership on strategic initiatives. Nachbar has nearly 35 years of experience in the distribution industry.

Doug Nixon, St. Louis Sales Director: Doug Nixon joins MoBev with 22 years of experience in the beverage industry and will lead the St. Louis sales team. Nixon brings 17 years of management experience to the job, most recently overseeing on-premise sales statewide for another distributor. 

Melinda Hagar, Director of Administration: Melinda Hagar has been a part of the MoBev team for more than six years. With diverse experience in all areas, Hagar is proficient in accounting, HR, finance, customer service, administration, IT, operations and purchasing. As director of administration, she will oversee each of these departments and team members. Melinda has more than 18 years of experience in the field.

Derick White, Director of Distribution: Derick White joins MoBev from Wirtz Beverage Illinois where he served as manager of Peoria Operations. As director of distribution, Derick will be responsible for leading MoBev’s warehouse and delivery, streamlining operations and implementing new systems to ensure timely and efficient backend efforts. 

“Each of these individuals has incredible experience and expertise,” continues Reichhardt. “With the company’s core team now in place, you can expect to hear much more about new business activities, facilities and other exciting initiatives in the near future.”
