Real Water Expands Distribution

Nashville-based Real Water of Tennessee announced that it has completed agreements with 12 distributors in Tennessee and Kentucky that will make its specialty water available at a potential 8,000 independent convenience and chain stores from the Mississippi to the Smokey Mountains.
 
he new distributors have extensive experience with beer and non-Alcoholic beverage sales in the Tennessee and Kentucky markets, giving Real Water a significant boost in exposure in the Southeast.

We really pick our brands carefully, and Real Water, with its superior packaging and functionality, delivers a great value to our customers and consumers at a reasonable price, and it just tastes better,” said Scott Turner, president of Ajax Turner. The announcement came on the heels of the company's exceptional first quarter gains in distribution channels and retail outlets. In addition to Ajax Turner, Real Water was selected for representation by United Natural Foods Inc. (UNFI), the leading independent national distributor of natural, organic, specialty foods and related products in the United States. As a result, Real Water will be front and center with Whole Foods customers and natural foods grocery stores across America. Nielson’s Spins report has Real Water in the No. 2 spot nationally for enhanced waters in the Natural Category.

While the young company, established in 2010, continues to make corporate headway, it also is making important strides in its community relations efforts. The company has signed on to sponsor several high-profile local events, including Music City Roots, Team Green and Nashville Dancin'.

Real Water of Tennessee bottles and distributes a premium alkalized, negatively charged or ionized water manufactured in Byrdstown, Tenn.
