DDW welcomes Daniel Castillo to the company as sales director, Americas. Castillo will lead DDW’s sales team to develop customer consultation initiatives in North America, the Caribbean, Central and South America. A key role for Castillo will be developing sales strategies and techniques to meet customer needs by collaborating with DDW’s Science & Innovation team.
Castillo brings more than a decade of strong experience in marketing, product management, business development, and sales management with a leading, global flavor house. Additional experience includes manufacturing supervision in Latin America with a large pharmaceutical company.
“Daniel adds valuable strategic and commercial experience in customer relationship management. His knowledge of the food industry in Latin America will boost our collaboration with customers,” says Graham Merryweather, senior vice president, Sales and Marketing.
Castillo earned a MBA degree from the University of Francisco Marroquin and a B.S. in Organic Chemistry from the University of San Carlos in Guatemala.
